1. Conducting tests on raw milk before approving it for processing.
2. Testing milk through senses like smell and taste.
3. Collecting samples of milk from different places (and cattle) and running tests.
4. Looking for any degradation of quality while processing. This applies to the processing of milk and milk products.
5. Conducting research on the samples. This is done to provide solutions for better processing. Identifying any loopholes in the final product quality, if present.
6. Operate machinery for processes like pasteurizing and separating milk to achieve desired fat content and consistency.
7. Apply knowledge of food science and technology to develop new dairy products and improve existing ones.
8. Monitor and operate processing equipment, including agitators, vats, and packaging machinery, to ensure they function correctly and at specified temperatures.
9. Maintain high standards of hygiene and sanitation in all dairy production areas to prevent contamination and spoilage.
