Key Responsibilities: Develop and create detailed 2D and 3D models of sheet metal components using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor or similar). Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, including drawings, specifications, and bill of materials (BOM). Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure designs meet production capabilities and quality standards. Conduct design reviews and apply feedback to optimize designs for functionality, manufacturability, and cost efficiency. Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies related to sheet metal fabrication. Source materials and components, ensuring they meet design and quality specifications. Provide technical support to production personnel, including troubleshooting and resolving any design-related issues during fabrication. Participate in project planning and cost estimation for sheet metal projects. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental requirements in design processes. Must have hands-on Experience to handle CNC leaser Cutting machine, CNC bending machine , CNC Pipe Cutting machine and CNC software. Required Qualifications: Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 3-4 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication design. Handling CNC Laser cutting and bending machines operatons. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor etc.) and an understanding of engineering principles. Familiarity with sheet metal manufacturing processes, including punching, bending, welding, and finishing. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
