In this position within the Finance function located in Thane, India, you will lead and mentor a team of Purchasing Specialists. Your responsibilities will include ensuring efficient procurement processes, service resilience, policy adherence, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will foster an organized, compliant, and reliable operational environment, driving team development and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance the scalability and effectiveness of procurement operations globally. Your mission will be to lead purchasing operations globally, with a focus on balancing process efficiency with user satisfaction. You will evaluate and resolve conflicts efficiently, foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, oversee the review of purchase requisitions and verification of purchase orders, coordinate the development and upkeep of procurement content, lead supplier compliance efforts, and oversee vendor master data administration. Main requirements for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 4+ years of experience in purchasing operations. You should have familiarity with general purchasing operations, experience with handling purchase requisitions and purchase orders, involvement in procurement content creation and maintenance, supplier screening, vendor master data management, strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while meeting deadlines. Fluency in both written and spoken English is essential for communication with global teams, system use, documentation, and vendor interactions. Any additional language skills would be a plus given the multi-regional scope.
