Role Overview: Finance Associate We are looking for a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with relevant background in finance or accounting – who will work with direct guidance of the Chief Investment Officer (CIO), contributing to a wide range of research and operational projects of high-net-worth client portfolios. This is not a sales or client-facing role. Instead, the emphasis is on high-quality financial operations, investment research and compliance, Excel-based reporting, and working alongside the CIO on a wide range of research and operational projects. Key Responsibilities · Maintain and organize investment and compliance records for all clients. · Work with client-side legal and tax advisors to ensure financial and compliance documentation is accurate and up-to-date. · Conduct detailed investment research across equity, debt, PMS, AIFs, and global investments. · Perform fund accounting, portfolio reconciliation, and data processing on Excel. · Track client portfolios and assist in preparing quarterly reviews and presentations. · Summarize policy, fund, or regulatory updates relevant to portfolio investments. Ideal Candidate Profile Education: Semi-qualified CA / Tier-2 MBA (Finance) / Graduate with 1–2 years of relevant corporate work experience in research roles in finance, and/or compliance and audit. Technical Skills: · Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint. · Familiarity with lookup functions, pivot tables, formatting & error-checking. · Prior exposure to compliance, investment reporting, or corporate finance. Work Ethic & Mindset: · High attention to detail — eye for error recognition and correction. · Comfortable working independently, structuring projects, and meeting own deadlines. · Excellent written (and oral) communication and ability to summarize complex concepts clearly. · Strong sense of ownership and interest in investment research.
