We are looking for a highly experienced Data Center Network Engineer to oversee and operate complex network infrastructures across multiple data centers. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of network platforms from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper, and Arista. Your responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and maintaining network switches, firewalls, and cybersecurity platforms, ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable network performance through close collaboration with IT and operations teams. Key Responsibilities: - Install, configure, and manage data center network switches and routers. - Operate and maintain network platforms from Cisco, Juniper, and Arista. - Ensure high availability and performance of network infrastructure across production and development environments. - Configure and manage data center firewalls and cybersecurity platforms. - Implement and support high-availability solutions, including various routing protocols. - Monitor and respond to network security incidents, vulnerabilities, and performance issues. - Implement and maintain network segmentation, access controls, and threat detection systems. - Collaborate with IT and operations teams for change requests, error resolution, patch management, and more. - Diagnose network issues efficiently across multiple platforms and implement corrective actions. - Maintain detailed logs and reports of network incidents and resolutions. Basic Qualifications: - 8-10 years of experience managing data center network switches, firewalls, and routers. - Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista network platforms. - Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and security principles. - Experience with firewall configuration and cybersecurity tools. - Familiarity with version control systems and change management processes. - Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills. - Knowledge of network automation platforms preferred. - Familiarity with compute virtualization networking including RedHat OpenShift and ESXi. Preferred Qualifications: - OEM-level network certification (CCNA/CCNP, JCNA/JCNP, etc). - Cisco Hyperfabric experience is a plus. - Exposure to cloud platforms and hybrid infrastructure environments.
