Cybersecurity IT Engineer

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Linux servers across development, staging, and production environments.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, or Shell for monitoring, configuration, and deployment.
• Support DevOps practices including CI/CD pipeline setup, configuration management, and release automation.
• Administer and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, Lambda, etc.).
• Implement system and network security best practices and support vulnerability remediation.
• Monitor server performance, perform patching, and manage incident resolution.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to maintain system reliability and scalability.
• Participate in infrastructure migration, cloud modernization, and automation initiatives.
• Maintain comprehensive system documentation, runbooks, and operational guidelines.

Skills Required:

• Linux Administration (Red Hat / Ubuntu / CentOS)
• Strong scripting experience using Bash / Shell / Python / PowerShell
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, IAM, S3, CloudWatch, VPC)
• DevOps tools exposure: Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible
• Strong troubleshooting of system, network, and application issues
• Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git)
• Knowledge of system and network security best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
• Team collaboration and communication skills
• Excellent documentation practices

Education:
