The OT/ICS Engineer will be leading the setup, commissioning, and operational management of the Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) lab with a focus on SCADA, PLC, and Industrial Control Systems (ICS). Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing the architecture for the lab setup, deploying industrial control hardware, integrating SCADA software platforms, ensuring operational readiness, monitoring system health, and conducting routine maintenance tasks. You will also be responsible for implementing industrial cybersecurity best practices, conducting security audits, configuring intrusion detection systems, and maintaining documentation related to lab infrastructure. Supporting students, researchers, and external teams in utilizing the lab for projects and simulations will also be part of your role. To be eligible for this position, you should have a B.Tech/B.E. or M.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Industrial Automation, or a related field, along with 3+ years of hands-on experience with ICS/SCADA systems. Proficiency in working with PLCs, knowledge of industrial protocols, and experience in OT networking and cybersecurity basics are required. Desired qualifications include exposure to cybersecurity frameworks for OT, experience in setting up CPS testbeds or simulation platforms, and certifications like GICSP, ISA/IEC 62443, or CCNA Industrial. Personal attributes such as strong problem-solving skills, good documentation and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and in interdisciplinary teams are also important. Occasional travel across the country may be required for project execution and coordination with geographically distributed teams.
