As a Legal Counsel at Adobe, you will have the opportunity to join a dynamic legal team that advises our world-class product, technology, and business teams responsible for creating products that creative professionals rely on daily. In this role, you will specifically support the Digital Advertising, Learning, and Publishing (D-ALP) business unit, as well as handle regional operational matters. Reporting to the Associate General Counsel in Noida, India, you will play a crucial role in managing and mitigating legal risks while collaborating cross-functionally to advance business objectives. Your key responsibilities will include advising product development, engineering, strategy, and marketing teams on a wide range of legal issues related to the design, development, launch, and operation of D-ALP products and services. You will also be involved in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various technology agreements, collaborating with internal stakeholders, providing legal training, monitoring legal and regulatory trends, offering operational support, and managing external counsel on complex legal matters. To excel in this role, you should be a qualified lawyer in India with 5-7 years of relevant experience in technology law, preferably in the IT/ITeS sector. You must have demonstrated expertise in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex technology and IP-related agreements, along with a solid understanding of privacy, data security, and cyberlaw as they relate to product development and online services. Experience in advising on compliance, familiarity with legal initiatives around artificial intelligence, and knowledge of real estate transactions or organizational operations within India will be advantageous. Your technical aptitude, collaboration skills, and ability to communicate legal concepts effectively to non-legal audiences will be essential. You should be business-oriented, solutions-driven, and possess a high level of integrity, along with a commitment to providing high-quality legal advice in a dynamic and innovative environment.
