Cyber Threat Researcher

You are a strong candidate with knowledge and experience in Darknet, HUMINT, and Automation (Python). You must be a self-learner, capable of working independently with minimal assistance and utilizing online resources. Your flexibility to learn new technologies and languages will be essential for this role. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor the online cybercrime underground space and cybercriminal activities in both Clearnet & Darknet. - Identify and evaluate new data sources informing cybercrime activities and write research reports and end customer deliverables. - Engage with threat actors and automate regular tasks to minimize manual efforts. - Use advanced open-source intelligence (OSINT) on the surface, deep, and dark web to identify indicators of malicious activity. - Support customer queries during off-hours if required. Desired Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Python programming. - Experience in automation. - Strong understanding of computer and networking fundamentals, DarkNet, Deep Web, and other cybercriminal activity sources. - Knowledge of various security technologies, cyber threats, malware, APTs, exploits, etc. - Familiarity with forums, IRC, Jabber, Discord, Telegram, etc. - Experience in vulnerability assessment & penetration testing is a plus. - Certifications such as CEH, OSCP, and other cybersecurity certifications are advantageous. Desired Soft Skills: - Interest in learning new technologies and skills. - Excellent written and spoken English skills. - Self-starter, quick learner, detail-oriented, comfortable in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to prepare and present research findings effectively.
