Cyber Security Tech Specialist

You will be leading the development of solutions in Cybersecurity, with a focus on Cloud-Firewalls, SIEM/SOAR, and Network and Security Operations. This involves making architectural and design decisions for the project, guiding team members in technical matters, and supervising system modifications. You will also be responsible for establishing project specifications and technical direction, delegating tasks, providing feedback, evaluating risks, and resolving conflicts. Continuously improving your knowledge and skills through research on new technologies and sharing this knowledge with the team is a key aspect of the role. Additionally, mentoring junior team members and working with legacy software will be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, software development, or a related field. A degree in cybersecurity would be an added advantage. Extensive industry experience, particularly in networking, is preferred. Candidates with a background in Start-ups are highly desirable, along with experience working with Agile methodologies. Your proficiency in PHP, Python, and AWS, along with knowledge of Node.js and Go, will be essential for this role. A strong technical design background, excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and the ability to mentor and guide team members are also required.
