Cyber Security Engineer (Internship)

Job Description As a Cyber Security Engineer at TestFyra, your primary focus will be to enhance both internal and client-facing security measures within telecom networks, SaaS platforms, and cloud-native infrastructure. You will play a hands-on role in conducting tests, monitoring systems, and safeguarding client environments against cyber threats. Key Responsibilities - Conduct penetration tests, vulnerability scans, and red teaming exercises on enterprise and telecom infrastructure. - Secure cloud and containerized environments including AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker. - Implement and manage SIEM, SOC, and security automation pipelines. - Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance readiness with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and PCI DSS. - Collaborate closely with TestFyra's solution architects and developers to integrate security practices into CI/CD and DevOps pipelines. - Offer incident response and threat hunting assistance to clients. Qualification Required - Proficiency in Pen Testing & Exploitation tools like Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp Suite, Wireshark, and Nmap. - Experience with Vulnerability Management tools such as Nessus, OpenVAS, Qualys, and Rapid7. - Familiarity with SIEM & Monitoring solutions like Splunk, Elastic Security, Microsoft Sentinel, and Wazuh. - Knowledge of Firewalls & Network Security technologies from Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point, and IDS/IPS. - Understanding of Cloud Security tools such as AWS GuardDuty, Azure Defender, and GCP Security Command Center. - Exposure to DevSecOps tools like GitHub Advanced Security, GitLab Security, OWASP ZAP, and Trivy.
