Job Title: Deputy Vice President (Dy. VP) Cyber Research Basic Qualifications (Mandatory) BE/ B.Tech degree in any discipline from a University/Institution/Board recognized by Govt. of India/approved by Govt. Regulatory bodies. OR MCA/ M.E./ M.Tech/ M.Sc degree in any discipline from a University/Institution/Board recognized by Govt. of India/approved by Govt. Regulatory bodies. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology . Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, PMP , or MBA (Technology Management) . Experience (Mandatory) 12+ years overall experience , with 8–10 years in Cyber Research . Experience (Preferred) Proven experience in leading cybersecurity research projects and initiatives. Background in cybersecurity roles in IT companies, BFSI institutions, government cybersecurity setups, consulting organizations, or relevant sectors (Information Security, Cyber Policy, Innovation, Cyber Defense, etc.). Experience in establishing or working in a Centre of Excellence (CoE) . Track record of developing cybersecurity strategies, frameworks, and standards . Strong technical background in areas such as cloud computing, networking, programming languages relevant to cybersecurity , and emerging technologies. Key Skills & Competencies Research & Innovation Skills Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, industry standards, and best practices . Ability to design, conduct, and lead research programs that advance cybersecurity innovation. Proven experience in thought leadership and contribution to development of cybersecurity standards and frameworks . Ability to translate research insights into practical applications and strategies . Strategic & Analytical Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex cybersecurity challenges. Capability to evaluate and forecast emerging cyber threats, disruptions, and trends . Experience in aligning research outcomes with organizational cybersecurity strategies . Leadership & Team Development Skills Ability to mentor and guide research teams , fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Strong interpersonal and people management skills for cross-functional collaboration . High ethical standards with a commitment to public service, ethics, and integrity . Communication & Advocacy Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills to disseminate research outcomes. Strong presentation and publication record in cybersecurity forums, industry bodies, or academia . Ability to engage with regulators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to advocate research-driven insights. Role Objective The Deputy Vice President – Cyber Research will: Drive cutting-edge research programs that strengthen SBI’s cybersecurity posture and industry leadership. Develop research-driven cybersecurity frameworks and best practices , contributing to the national and global discourse. Build and maintain a high level of cybersecurity expertise within the organization and broader community. Translate research findings into policy inputs, innovation roadmaps, and actionable strategies . Shape the future of cybersecurity standards and practices through thought leadership and active participation in research ecosystems.

Job Title: Centre Head (CH) Cyber Security Centre of Excellence Basic Qualifications (Mandatory) BE/ B.Tech in any discipline from a University/Institution/Board recognized by Govt. of India/approved by Govt. Regulatory bodies. OR MCA/ M.E./ M.Tech/ M.Sc in any discipline from a University/Institution/Board recognized by Govt. of India/approved by Govt. Regulatory bodies. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in Cybersecurity or Information Technology. Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, PMP , or MBA (Technology Management) . Experience (Mandatory) 20+ years overall experience , with 810 years in IT, Cybersecurity, IT Security Innovation, Cyber/Industry Research, or IT Project Management. Proven experience in establishing or managing a Centre of Excellence (CoE) . Experience (Preferred) Deep understanding of Banking & Financial Services Industry (BFSI) regulations and compliance , including but not limited to: RBI Cybersecurity Framework SEBI Cybersecurity Guidelines Data Protection Laws PCI-DSS / NIST Frameworks Other regulatory requirements in BFSI Experience in BFSI IT/Security projects is highly desirable. Experience working with or managing multi-stakeholder environments (Government, Academia, Industry). Technical & Program Management Skills Expertise in cybersecurity technologies, frameworks, and advanced security concepts . Ability to guide and manage research & innovation-driven programs . Strong understanding of cybersecurity policy, technology disruptions, and best practices . Proficiency in program management principles, project planning, and execution . Interpersonal & Communication Skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex cybersecurity concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders across Government, Academia, and Industry . Customer & Citizen-centric mindset with focus on innovation and security posture enhancement . Role Objective The Centre Head will: Own and drive the Cyber Security Centre of Excellence operations . Lead innovation, research, and program execution aligned with SBI’s cybersecurity objectives. Ensure research projects, policies, and practices strengthen SBI’s cyber resilience . Serve as a thought leader in cybersecurity, fostering collaboration across internal teams, regulatory bodies, and external partners .
