Cyber Incident Response and Recovery Investigator

As a Global Cyber Incident Response and Recovery Investigator at SAP, you will play a crucial role in defending the company's digital enterprise. Your responsibilities will include triaging security events, analyzing data to determine severity and priority, and assessing whether a cyber-attack is occurring. You will work closely with Global Security Operations Investigators to scope suspected attacks, coordinate containment efforts, and support forensic investigations. Key Responsibilities: - Triage security alerts detected by Enterprise Detection and SIEM - Analyze available data to determine scope, severity, and priority for follow-on actions - Support validation of cyber-attacks, scoping suspected attacks, and coordinating containment efforts - Assist in root cause analysis, attack remediation strategies, and incident communication - Review and update incident handling processes, standard operating procedures, and playbooks - Collaborate with Detection and SIEM teams to enhance detection mechanisms and support forensic investigations Qualifications Required: - Experience in cyber-attack analysis and 24/7 environments with enterprise SIEM or Incident Management systems - Previous experience supporting cross-organizational teams - Analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail - Quick learner, adaptable, and able to operate in a dynamic environment - Solid technical knowledge in areas such as Computer Forensics, Cloud, ERP, and Cyber Security SAP is dedicated to helping the world run better by providing innovative solutions to customers.
