Mechanical Engineer Water & Wastewater Treatment Plant Job Description: Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment used in water and wastewater treatment plants. Supervise and coordinate with maintenance teams for pumps, motors, blowers, valves, and gearboxes. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and suggesting corrective actions. Maintain equipment logs, service reports, and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards. Collaborate with electrical and instrumentation teams to ensure system efficiency. Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 25 years 2. PLC Operator Water Treatment Plant Job Description: Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems in treatment plants. Modify basic PLC parameters and HMI settings as per operational needs. Perform daily system checks, log data, and ensure process compliance. Coordinate with maintenance teams for automation-related faults. Ensure smooth operation of RO, UF, MEE, ZLD, and dosing systems through automation. Maintain system backup, documentation, and safety protocols. Qualification: Diploma/ITI in Electrical/E&I/Automation Experience: 23 years; Knowledge of Siemens, Allen Bradley, or Delta PLC preferred 3. Fitter – Utility/Plant Maintenance Job Description: Carry out fitting, assembling, and installation tasks for mechanical systems. Conduct maintenance of pipes, valves, motors, tanks, and structural components. Perform repair works using tools such as cutting machines, welding sets, and grinders. Interpret technical drawings and follow instructions accurately. Follow safety standards and ensure clean, safe workspaces. Qualification: ITI Fitter Experience: 1–3 years 4. ETP/STP/WTP Operator Job Description: Operate and monitor Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and Water Treatment Plants (WTP). Ensure proper chemical dosing, backwashing, and routine plant operation. Record and report daily readings (pH, TDS, COD, BOD, flow rates, etc.). Conduct basic water quality tests and sample collection. Perform minor maintenance and coordinate with technical teams for troubleshooting. Comply with environmental, health, and safety standards. Qualification: ITI/Diploma in Chemical/Environmental/Petrochemical or related field Experience: 1–3 years
