Responsibilities: - Coordinating effectively with customers and vendors. - Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of Export Documentation requirements. - Proficiency in utilizing Logisys software and conducting E-Sanchit document uploads in Icegate. - Sound knowledge of customs regulations and export incentive schemes. - Handling Odex operation of form 13 and ensuring proper document handover in the system. - Managing customers" Daily Sales Report (DSR) efficiently. - Experience in managing re-exports under sec 69 and sec 74. - Demonstrating strong email communication skills. Requirements: - Customs Expertise: Possessing a robust understanding of Export Customs documentation and procedures. - Customer Focus: Demonstrating a customer-centric approach and exceptional service attitude. - Education: Holding a Graduate or Undergraduate degree. Role & responsibilities Ensure full compliance with Indian customs regulations and applicable global trade laws. Classify products using appropriate HS codes and maintain classification database (RM/Capex/Consumab.) Maintain HS Master List with all other relevant details. Prepare and review import/export documentation including Bill of Entry, Shipping Bills, invoices, and packing lists. Work with customs brokers to ensure timely addressing of queries, clearance of goods at ports/airports. Liaise with DGFT, customs authorities, and other regulatory bodies. Apply and obtain required regulatory licenses. Maintain compliance with FTAs (e.g., ASEAN, CEPA, SAFTA) and apply for benefits where applicable. Oversee use of schemes like MOOWR, EOU, SEZ, EPCG, MEIS/RODTEP, and duty DBK as applicable. Monitor and audit trade compliance processes internally to identify and resolve potential issues. Keep up-to-date with changes in customs laws and trade regulations. Guide internal user teams on import, export, re-import, re-export, RTV, etc. Track, Prepare and submit replies for customs litigations. Train internal teams on compliance policies and best practices. Attend to and deliver assignments, delegated by Superiors. Preferred candidate profile Qualifications: Masters/Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field. 815 years of experience in customs compliance & international trade. Strong knowledge of Indian customs laws, FTP (Foreign Trade Policy), and GST implications. Familiarity with ICEGATE, DGFT systems, and SAP/GTS (preferred). Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills. Strong communication and coordination skills. Preferred Skills: Certification in International Trade, Customs Brokerage, or related compliance training. Experience in working with multinational corporations or in a manufacturing/logistics setting. Knowledge of trade compliance software and tools. Language Skills: English, Tamil, Kannada & Hindi.
