Strong Sense of integrity and high ethical standards Your responsibilities To manage day to day External engagement with Customs and other Govt Authorities for securing custom clearance. Execute operational requirements, delivering daily import and export activities in assigned areas to achieve operational goals and objectives and to maximise compliance. Execute work to complete all relevant daily customs activities accurately, completely and timely and secure compliance in every customs declaration. Identify and investigate and act to resolve inaccuracies and deviations. Execute work to maintain master data for filing relevant declarations with appropriate authorities. Align working methods, strategic and operational goals with IKEA IN activities, strategic and operational goals. Execute work to support the delivery of assigned ad-hoc tasks and projects. Execute work to build and maintain relevant customs and knowledge, while collaborating with co-workers to share insights. To secure documentation required for all governmental interactions. Interact with Govt authorities on valuation, examination, sampling and release of IKEA shipments. Archival of correspondence and documents submitted to the authorities. Follow up on claims or file work required as part of customs operations. Co-ordinate with stakeholder functions for day to day business operations. Securing record retention in accordance to local requirements. System updation and generation of reports required for day to day operations Together as a team Customs Function is the gatekeeper to secure compliance to all customs regulations for all imports by the company. Collaborate with Inter IKEA Customs Organization to secure compliances. Handle all customs documentation and interactions to secure on time and compliant custom clearance.
