Job Description

As a Customer Support Representative, you will be responsible for providing prompt and courteous responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, or chat. Your role will involve addressing customer concerns, complaints, or technical problems effectively and efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction. It is essential to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset. A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position, with an associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. While previous customer service experience is beneficial, it is not always required. Proficiency in using computers and familiarity with CRM software is a plus. You should have the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure to handle various customer interactions successfully. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers with product-related questions, troubleshooting, and usage guidance. Additionally, you will be responsible for processing orders, modifications, cancellations, and returns following company policies. Accurately documenting customer interactions in the CRM system and educating customers about product features, promotions, and policies are also part of your role. Collaboration with colleagues and other departments to address complex customer issues or escalate unresolved problems is essential. You should aim to meet or exceed performance metrics such as response time, resolution rate, and customer satisfaction scores. Staying informed about company products, services, and policies will allow you to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers. Handling irate customers with empathy and finding satisfactory solutions to their issues is crucial. Your feedback on customer issues and suggestions for process improvements will contribute to enhancing overall customer satisfaction.
