As a globally recognized industry leader in the Energy vertical, you will utilize your advanced engineering knowledge to support Ansys" verticalization strategy with the Energy Center of Excellence (COE). Your role will involve collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to drive business impact by advising the Ansys commercial and product management teams on how best to grow the business. You will play a key role in driving Ansys" Go-to-Market verticalization strategy by working closely with the Industry CTO, Global Technical Account Management (TAM), Marketing, and Sales Operations Leads. Building a trusted advisor role within the COE, you will understand industry trends and key pillars, product development needs, and design workflows to ensure Ansys products and platforms meet and exceed customers" goals. Your responsibilities will also include establishing a network of Subject Matter Experts globally to drive the collation of content that aligns with the Ansys narrative. Leading teams of SMEs, you will map Ansys capabilities to industry initiatives and whitespace, contributing to the definition of the Ansys product roadmap and recommending new solution focus areas and assets to stakeholders. Additionally, you will drive market adoption of vertical application focus areas by creating and promoting sales enablement and technical content, as well as supporting Ansys Field and Digital Marketing teams in developing promotional materials and events. Your role will involve demonstrating leadership, engaging in Ansys initiatives to innovate offerings and solutions, improving technology and productivity, and fostering the development of individuals within the organization. To be successful in this role, you are required to have a BS, MS, or PhD in Mechanical/Chemical/Aerospace/Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 7-12 years of professional experience in an engineering software environment. You should have demonstrated expertise in relevant Ansys software or knowledge of other commercial CAE, CAD, EDA, PLM software packages, as well as strong leadership and mentoring skills. Furthermore, you should possess logical problem-solving abilities, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be fluent in both written and spoken English. An ability to organize and manage multiple complex projects, work in a Matrix Organization, and coordinate colleagues across geographically diverse locations is essential. Additionally, you should be willing to travel up to 25% of the time to fulfill the responsibilities of this role. What You'll Do At UiPath - Collaborate closely with GTM and professional services teams to qualify prospects/customers and plan/position value discovery and value measurement engagements. - Execute collaborative value discovery engagements and deliver compelling presentations to prospects, highlighting the business value of UiPath solutions. - Engage with customers through value measurement engagements to identify and report the business value they have received and publish value-based customer case studies. - Work with various internal UiPath teams to understand and document industry-specific value drivers for UiPath solutions and create ROI/TCO models. - Innovate continuously on value and strategic customer discovery frameworks, including market and industry competitive analysis and specific UiPath value drivers. - Provide thought leadership and coaching to GTM teams to accelerate sales cycles. - Manage PMO responsibilities for the strategic accounts/big deals program and contribute to the development of UiPath's strategic customer engagement framework, Elevate. What You'll Bring To The Team - 5+ years of experience in a strategy or management consulting role. - Minimum 2+ years of experience in the B2B software or technology industry. - Professional work experience in strategy/management consulting at a professional services firm or at a software business in value selling/consulting for a software solutions business. - Strong business acumen and problem-solving capability. - Excellent quantitative analysis and financial modeling skills. - Self-sufficiency, a high degree of autonomy, and a passion for working in a fast-paced startup environment. - Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with multiple stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in English. - Proven experience in designing and leading business consulting engagements that involve cross-functional teams.
