As an Application Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for writing customer-specific applications on the CPS9000 Single Note Inspection System, whether at the factory or customer sites. Your duties will also involve supporting the implementation of the machine effectively. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing and compiling information from the SRD, Functional Specification, and Project Management. You will apply this information to the System Application Software Setup as necessary for each customer application. Additionally, you will attend customer FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), assist with pre-site application planning, and keep up to date on the latest versions of system software. It will be your responsibility to make full system backups and save them on the network once the FAT is completed. Moreover, handling customers professionally during difficult high-pressure situations will be crucial. To excel in this role, you must have experience with document sorting systems and hold a High School Diploma or Equivalent. Technical training courses or a degree in a relevant field is required. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, dependable, and capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong organizational skills, flexibility to travel at short notice, and a self-starter attitude with a proactive approach are essential qualities we seek in our candidates.,
