The Parts Sales Manager will be responsible for direct and distribution parts sales for the region. Your primary objective will be to achieve AOP targets, drive parts sales, maintain strong customer connectivity, maximize business opportunities and pipeline sufficiency, and promote services solutions. In this role, you will also need to coordinate with the service team, coach distributor sales teams, and leverage data-driven tools. You will drive the fulfillment of overall parts and services targets to achieve the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and ensure continuous sales growth. It will be crucial to maintain monthly and annual targets, pursue all potential leads effectively, and collaborate with cross-functional teams for smooth executions. Monitoring and analyzing sales data using connectivity tools will be essential to optimize business opportunities and bring monthly improvements in performance. Managing existing direct accounts by generating inquiries, quoting for requirements, negotiating, and finalizing orders will be part of your responsibilities. You must take full ownership to fulfill customer requirements in a timely manner and ensure customer delight. Recommending consumables and insurance spares to customers to ensure uninterrupted operations is also important. Ensuring distributors have the right stock levels based on the installed base and potential will be crucial. Building strong customer relationships through regular engagement, sales support, and driving efforts to get orders for value-added services like Air Audits and Eco Plant is essential. Conducting joint visits with distributors to convert drifted accounts to genuine parts will be a key activity. You will also be responsible for coaching distributor parts sales teams to optimize sales performance and work closely with the service team to align on customer needs. Coordinating with cross-functional teams for any customer concern resolution is also part of the role. To qualify for this position, you must have a BE/B. Tech degree with 5-8 years of experience and must be familiar with the local areas/region. You should be able to communicate technological solutions not only to technical but also to business users. Understanding the sales cycle and where the Sales Engineering Team is responsible will be crucial. Excelling in competitive situations with a go-getter approach is a key competency required for this role. As per business requirements, travel and work arrangements will be necessary.
