Custom WordPress Developer (3 Years Exp)

Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
• Convert Figma/PSD designs into fully functional, responsive WordPress websites.
• Integrate third-party APIs and plugins as needed.
• Optimize websites for performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs, compatibility issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and QA teams to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Stay updated with the latest WordPress trends, tools, and security practices.

Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of WordPress core, custom themes, and plugin development.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.
• Experience with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) and custom post types.
• Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, Gutenberg, or WPBakery.
• Familiarity with SEO implementation and structured data.
• Understanding of REST API and WordPress hooks/actions/filters.
• Version control experience (Git / GitHub / Bitbucket).
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of website performance optimization and security best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with WooCommerce, LearnDash, or other major WP plugins.
• Knowledge of headless WordPress (using React, Vue, or Next.js).
• Contribution to open-source projects or WordPress community participation (bonus!).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
