About The Role

Project Role :Custom Software Engineer

Project Role Description :Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Summary:As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions that involve designing, coding, and enhancing components across various systems or applications. Your typical day will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, utilizing modern frameworks, drive campaign messaging, knowledge management, and award submissions to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions that are tailored to meet specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving and innovation to ensure that the software solutions align with the overall objectives of the organization.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be an SME.

Collaborate with engineering teams to translate deep-tech work (Chaos Engineering, Resilience, Inner Source, etc.) into engaging narratives.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Create high-quality internal newsletters, developer portal content, SharePoint assets, and technical case studies

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Structure documentation across platforms like Confluence, GitLab, SharePoint, etc.

Continuously assess and improve team processes to increase efficiency.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Technical Writing.

Strong ability to create clear and concise documentation for software applications.

Must understand tech concepts??this is not a translation role

Experience in developing user manuals, technical specifications, and online help documentation.

Samples of publicly accessible work (e.g., blogs, LinkedIn posts, docs) highly preferred

Familiarity with various documentation tools and software.

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easily understandable language.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 7 years of experience in Technical Writing.

This position is based at our Gurugram office.

A 15 years full time education is required.

Strong technical background is a must (ideally engineering/CS degree)
Qualification 15 years full time education
