About The Role

Project Role :Custom Software Engineer

Project Role Description :Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software meets the highest standards of quality and performance while adapting to evolving project requirements.Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be a Subject Matter Expert with deep knowledge and experience.

Should quickly upskill on the architecture and frameworks of the team and design solutions with it.

Should have influencing and advisory skills.

Responsible for team decisions.

Solicit requirements and build solutions based on existing platforms and systems.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.

Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Mentor junior professionals to help them develop their skills and understanding of the software development lifecycle.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in Embedded C and C++.

Strong understanding of software development methodologies, particularly Agile and Scrum.

Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems.

Experience with semiconductor based product development and knowledge on terminology is added advantage.

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex software issues.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 15 years of experience in Embedded C++.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required
