About The Role

Project Role :Custom Software Engineer

Project Role Description :Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs.

Summary:As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance while adapting to evolving project requirements. Roles & Responsibilities:

Design, manage, and optimize ETL processes for seamless integration of asset data into SAP.

Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across asset management systems through robust validation and testing.

Lead data migration, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities from legacy systems into SAP.

Ensure asset management configurations align with business design requirements.

Perform comprehensive data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency of asset data in SAP.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to asset management configurations and ETL processes.

Collaborate with functional and technical teams to drive timely defect resolution.

Provide ongoing support and training on SAP Asset Management best practices.

Develop and maintain detailed documentation for asset management processes, configurations, and ETL workflows.

Expected to be an SME.

Collaborate and manage the team to perform.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.

Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency. Professional & Technical
Skills:

Strong experience in SAP Asset Management (PM/AM), master data management, and ETL tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, Informatica).

Expertise in SAP configuration, testing, and data validation related to asset management.

Deep knowledge of asset lifecycle management, maintenance strategies, and data integration principles.

Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and align business and technical stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in defect management.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Must To Have Skills:

Proficiency in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).

Strong understanding of software development life cycle methodologies.

Experience with modern programming languages and frameworks.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues effectively.

Familiarity with database management and data integration techniques.
Additional Information

The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP Plant Maintenance (PM).

This position is based at our Pune office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
