Curriculum Designer

LMES Academy is looking for a passionate and innovative Course Developer – Science and Maths to design and develop engaging hands-on courses for school students from Grade 4 to Grade 8. The ideal candidate should have expertise in electronics, experience in course development, and the ability to create models and prototypes to enhance learning. Additionally, the role involves writing course scripts and leveraging AI tools to generate course videos, making the learning experience more interactive and effective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop structured course content in Science and Maths for Grades 4-8, ensuring alignment with educational standards and STEM learning principles.
• Design interactive models, experiments, and prototypes to make learning hands-on and engaging.
• Write course scripts for explainer videos, ensuring clarity and engagement for young learners.
• Transcribe scripts from Tamil to English for the course dubbing process.
• Work with AI-powered tools to generate course videos, animations, and digital content for enhanced learning.
• Collaborate with instructional designers, subject matter experts, and teachers to develop effective learning materials.
• Research and integrate creative and innovative teaching methodologies to simplify complex electronics concepts.
• Develop and test DIY Science kits and activities for students.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in STEM education to continuously enhance course content.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Physics and Maths, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in course development, curriculum design, or STEM education.
• Strong knowledge of basic to intermediate Science concepts .
• Experience in model/prototype development for educational purposes.
• Creativity and innovation in developing engaging, hands-on learning experiences.
• Proficiency in using science simulation software and hardware tools.
• Experience in scriptwriting for educational content.
• Familiarity with AI-powered tools for video generation and digital content creation.
• Good communication and presentation skills to convey technical concepts effectively.
• Passion for STEM education and fostering curiosity among students.
