You will be joining the team of Hungry N Thirsty Foods Private Limited, a leading player in the hospitality industry with a diverse portfolio of establishments offering unique dining experiences. As a Curry Chef based in Kolkata, your main responsibility will be to prepare a variety of Indian curry dishes with a focus on quality and consistency. This full-time on-site role will involve daily tasks such as ingredient selection, recipe development, cooking, plating, and ensuring hygiene standards are met. In addition to your culinary duties, you will also be in charge of managing kitchen staff, overseeing inventory, and contributing to menu planning to elevate the dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in preparing Indian curry dishes, knowledge of traditional and contemporary recipes, experience in kitchen staff management, and maintaining a clean workspace. Strong understanding of ingredient selection, inventory management, and food safety standards are essential. Creativity in culinary presentations, attention to detail, excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are key qualities we are looking for. While previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is preferred, it is not mandatory. A culinary degree or relevant certification would be a plus.
