Education requirements include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 8+ years of experience as a data conversion specialist or a similar position, and 10+ years of total experience in the IT/Financial/Equity domain. The Data Conversion Specialist position at insightsoftware involves integrating and mapping customer data from client source systems to the company's platform. As a member of the insightsoftware Project Management Office (PMO), you will utilize your technical skills in data migration, scripting, and organization to ensure efficient and accurate conversion of client data. The role will require you to perform extract, transform, load (ETL) activities to ensure timely data conversions and provide innovative solutions to meet customer needs while adhering to project governance. Your responsibilities will include mapping business requirements to solution designs, presenting findings to stakeholders, identifying data gaps, and conducting impact analysis. You will collaborate with clients and ISW Project Managers throughout the conversion/integration process, communicating effectively to keep projects on target and driving continuous improvements in the data migration process. To excel in this role, you should have experience in assessing data and analytic requirements, working with ETL methodologies and tools such as Talend and Dell Boomi, and utilizing data mapping tools for data loads. Write and administer ETL jobs to extract data from multiple data sources and load into datamarts. Integrate data from different data sources: databases, csv files, xml files, queues Integrate data for batch, near real-time, real-time latencies. Organize data at different aggregation levels, hierarchies Write complex data transformation logic. Proactively monitor the performance of data jobs and tune the jobs as needed. Make the data integration jobs fault tolerant and scalable. Perform Data quality, data modeling and database tasks as required.

EXPERIENCE SUMMARY: * Over 8+ years of work experience in IT in analysis, architecture, designing, developing, implementation, testing. support of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence using ODI. Good experience in gathering the business requirements and developing jobs/mappings using ODI tool to fetch data from heterogeneous source system like MYSQL DB, ORACLE DB, TEXT files, CSV files, XML files. Experience in creating ODI jobs specially file related jobs (bxt, csv, xml) with complete automation LS starting from file receive to sending success/failure alert Extensive DW knowledge using ODI during setting up master & work repository, data server, physical & logical schema, model, source, target, mapping, package, knowledge module, scenario, variable, sequence, procedure, mapping components (set, split, distinct, join, filter, lookup, expression, aggregate), package tool components, metadata soe table, load plan, exception handling. Good understanding on knowledge modules. Loaded multiple targets using a single mapping in ODI 11g version without split option. Implemented SCD Type 1, SCD Type 2 and CDC. Knowledge in creating source, target, look, expression, aggregate, package tool components. *Development and support of entire ODI landscape.
