Firewall Engineer (Palo Alto Migration Specialist) Required Skills and Experience: 6+ years of experience in network security/firewall engineering. Deep expertise in Palo Alto firewalls (physical and virtual) and PAN-OS . Hands-on experience with firewall migrations using tools like Expedition, CSV exports, custom scripts , etc. Strong command of routing (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, VPNs (IPSec, SSL) , and NAT. Proficient with Panorama , GlobalProtect , and Palo Alto threat prevention features. Familiarity with other firewall platforms (e.g., Cisco ASA, Fortinet, Check Point) and migration considerations. Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) is a plus for automation and bulk changes. Experience with change management processes and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow). Excellent analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
