As a front-end developer at the fastest growing coupons website in India, you will have the opportunity to showcase your HTML skills and finesse to more than 5 million active users every month. You should have experience in converting PSD into HTML, following HTML5 semantic markup and web standards, and creating responsive designs. Your strong experience with cross-browser compatibility issues and optimization for the web, including CSS sprites and best practices, will be essential. Additionally, you should have a proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery, as well as knowledge of advanced JavaScript libraries. Understanding asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX is crucial. Being an excellent team player with self-motivation, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills is key to success in this role. It would be advantageous to have knowledge of Photoshop, experience working with large-scale web applications, SEO/social media, and familiarity with tools such as Gulp, Grunt, Webpack, RequireJS, LabJS, Handlebars, Mustache, and JSON. Knowledge of Angular or ReactJS, as well as experience with JS template engines, will also be beneficial. Your responsibilities will include development and layout planning of web pages, templates, and websites in coordination with the software development team. You will use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages, maintain and improve the website, and design mobile-based features. Collaboration with back-end developers and web designers to enhance usability is essential. Creating quality mockups and prototypes, developing new user-facing features, and building reusable code and libraries for future use are part of your role. Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability, validating all user input before submitting to the back-end, and incorporating feedback from users and customers are critical tasks. You should also be familiar with CSS3, Compass, Sass, LESS, adaptive and responsive implementations, and be willing to participate in training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.,
