You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing security solutions for cloud infrastructure in this role as a Cloud Security Engineer. Your main focus will be on securing cloud environments across AWS and other cloud service providers while developing and enforcing cloud security policies, standards, and procedures. You will also work on securing microservices architectures and implementing security measures for Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications. Additionally, managing and securing container orchestration platforms will be part of your responsibilities. Continuously monitoring and improving cloud security posture, implementing CSPM tools to automate security assessments and compliance checks, and identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities and security risks in the cloud environment will be crucial aspects of your role. Ensuring the security of cloud-based infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage, implementing network security measures such as firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems, and conducting regular security assessments and audits of the infrastructure will also fall under your purview.
