Prepare accurate sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for senior management. 2. Team Leadership & Development: Lead, motivate, coach, and mentor a team of sales representatives to maximize their potential and achieve individual and team quotas. Manage the hiring, training, performance reviews, and ongoing professional development of the sales team. Set individual and team sales targets and monitor performance against these goals, implementing corrective actions as needed. 3. Business Development & Client Relationships: Generate leads and identify new business opportunities, particularly for manufactured products/equipment. Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships, partnering with clients to understand their evolving needs and effectively communicate how the company's manufacturing solutions address them. This role requires a strong understanding of our product line, technical specifications, and the ability to provide consultative solutions to meet customer needs. Key Responsibilities 1. Sales & Business Development: * Aggressively prospect and generate new sales leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and attending industry trade shows. * Conduct product demonstrations and presentations, clearly articulating the features, benefits, and specifications of our door products to potential customers. * Develop and implement a territory action plan to manage and grow sales within the assigned region/market. * Achieve and consistently exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas. 2. Client Consultation & Quoting: * Act as a product expert, performing needs analysis for customers (contractors, builders, architects, or homeowners) to determine the appropriate door and hardware solutions. * Prepare detailed and accurate sales quotes, estimates, and bid packages, ensuring all product specifications, pricing, and project requirements are included. * Negotiate pricing and contract terms to successfully close sales deals. 3. Account Management & Service: * Maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and identifying opportunities for repeat business and referrals. * Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and coordinating with internal teams (Production, Logistics, Customer Service) to ensure seamless order fulfillment and delivery. * Process sales orders, contracts, and necessary documentation with high attention to detail. 4. Product & Market Knowledge: * Maintain a deep and up-to-date knowledge of the company's door products, materials (e.g., wood, fiberglass, steel), energy ratings, hardware options, and installation requirements. * Stay informed about current market conditions, industry trends, and competitors' products and pricing. * Gather and report "Voice of Customer" feedback to the management and product development teams.
