As a Software Tester at Cypherock, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our hardware/devices through manual testing. Your key responsibilities will include designing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases, identifying and documenting software and hardware defects, and collaborating with the development team to resolve issues efficiently. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to work on automated testing tasks. While not mandatory, experience with developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks, executing automated test suites, and contributing to automation strategy improvements would be beneficial. In terms of customer communication, you will be expected to investigate reported issues, provide clear explanations to customers, and act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of feedback. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or have equivalent practical experience. Previous experience in manual software testing, as well as familiarity with hardware testing or quality assurance for physical products, is required. A strong understanding of QA methodologies, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools like Jira are essential. Experience with automated testing frameworks and tools, proficiency in a scripting or programming language, knowledge of API testing, and a basic understanding of Web3 and the Crypto space would be advantageous.
