This includes crushers, conveyors, mills, pumps, compressors, screens, and other equipment critical to mineral processing operations. The role requires a strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, preventive maintenance practices, troubleshooting, and the ability to manage and lead maintenance teams. Maintenance Planning & Scheduling :Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of all mechanical equipment.Schedule routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective maintenance tasks for equipment such as crushers, mills, pumps, and conveyors.Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety, environmental, and operational standards. Troubleshooting and Fault Diagnosis :Diagnose mechanical failures, analyze equipment performance, and identify root causes of mechanical breakdowns.Perform corrective actions to restore equipment to optimal performance, reducing downtime and improving reliability. Equipment Reliability & Performance :Monitor and assess the performance of mechanical systems and equipment.Recommend and implement improvements or upgrades to enhance efficiency and extend the lifespan of machinery.Use diagnostic tools and techniques to monitor vibration, alignment, temperature, pressure, and other factors affecting mechanical systems.
