As a Primary Teacher of Social Studies at SIT Public School, your role will involve educating young students with a focus on history, geography, and civics. Your responsibilities will include teaching Social Studies to students from Grade I to V following CBSE/NCERT guidelines. Evaluating student progress through assessments and observations, maintaining discipline, and fostering a positive learning environment are essential aspects of this role. Collaboration with fellow teachers to facilitate cross-curricular learning, active participation in school events and staff meetings, and building strong communication channels with students and parents to support the learning process will also be part of your responsibilities. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Graduate or Postgraduate degree in History, Geography, Political Science, or Social Science along with a B.Ed. or D.Ed. qualification. Previous experience in teaching at the primary level is preferred, and proficiency in both written and spoken English and Hindi is required. Strong interpersonal skills, a child-centric teaching approach, and a commitment to the school's values and academic mission are essential traits for potential candidates.
