As a Marketing Data Analyst at Medscape, a division of WebMD, you will play a crucial role in supporting the performance measurement and optimization of digital campaigns across various healthcare channels and specialty verticals. Your primary responsibility will involve analyzing media campaign performance across digital channels like email, display, programmatic, native, and social. By tracking and reporting on campaign key performance indicators (KPIs) such as impressions, click-through rate (CTR), cost per mille (CPM), engagement by specialty, and qualified reach, you will provide valuable insights to stakeholders. In this role, you will be expected to develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports using business intelligence (BI) tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI. Your expertise in Excel and SQL for data manipulation, along with experience in reporting platforms, will be essential in delivering high-quality analytics and reporting to evaluate campaign effectiveness and audience engagement. Furthermore, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, editorial, and client services to deliver actionable insights and support strategic decision-making. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field, along with 2-4 years of experience in media analytics, marketing analytics, or campaign performance, preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences sectors. Proficiency in digital marketing metrics, cross-channel attribution, and experience with HCP audience data will be advantageous. Moreover, your strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills will be key in ensuring data quality, compliance with industry standards, and alignment with healthcare privacy regulations such as HIPAA and GDPR.
