As a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Counsel at G10X, your main responsibility will be to support commercial contract negotiations, manage legal risk, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations. You will focus particularly on areas such as technology, data protection, and employment matters. Located in Kochi with the option of working from the office, you should have at least 4 years of experience in the legal field. Your duties will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various commercial contracts, such as Master Services Agreements (MSAs), Software Licensing Agreements, NDAs, MOUs, Vendor Agreements, Statements of Work (SoWs), and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). You will also be required to identify, assess, and advise on legal and contractual risks. Another important aspect of your role will involve ensuring compliance with IT and data protection laws like GDPR and the Indian IT Act, as well as addressing cross-border legal and regulatory compliance issues. Collaboration with internal business teams, sales, procurement, and HR will be essential for providing legal advice, handling employment-related documentation, and addressing governance matters. You will also play a key role in developing and updating internal legal policies, playbooks, and templates. Additionally, you will support dispute resolution processes by drafting legal notices and maintaining litigation records when necessary. It will be your responsibility to maintain a contracts database and ensure the proper execution, storage, and tracking of agreements.
