Cross Functional Test Lead

As a Cross Functional Test Lead at Apple's IS&T Retail Systems, you will be responsible for managing/testing efforts for multiple cross functional retail projects with concurrent timelines. Your role will involve establishing QA standards, guidelines, and technologies, as well as coordinating onsite and offshore testing team activities. You will work closely with the Automation Lead to reduce regression test cycles through automation and collaborate with various teams to deliver high-quality product releases. Key Responsibilities: - Manage/Lead testing efforts for multiple cross functional retail projects - Establish QA standards, guidelines, technologies, and approaches - Coordinate onsite and offshore testing team activities - Participate in development and execution of test processes, strategies, and plans - Work with Automation Lead to increase automation and reduce regression test cycles - Collaborate with business partners, developers, and support teams to troubleshoot and resolve defects and issues - Lead and inspire a team of talented individuals in a fast-paced testing environment Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience leading a team as QA Lead - Ability to quickly identify and understand issues - Outstanding team player with excellent interpersonal skills - Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills - Comfortable working in dynamic environments and under pressure - Strong capabilities in end to end software testing in Agile and Waterfall methodologies - Experience with automation framework, tools, test data, and environment setup - Ability to work closely with the engineering team during all aspects of the development process - Flexibility to support projects in different time zones and regions globally Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience - Strong experience in developing and implementing test plans, QA processes, and methodologies - Experience in manual and automation testing This position at Apple demands a self-motivated individual with strong technical and interpersonal skills, capable of contributing effectively in a team environment.
