To be successful as a SAS lead, you should have the following experience and skills: Essential Skills: - Excellent understanding of SAS 9.x Architecture, Base and Advance SAS, SAS Macros, SAS EG, SAS SMC - Hands-on experience with a scheduling tool, preferably TWS/LSF/Crontab - Extensive experience managing SAS projects end-to-end with a proven track record, demonstrating strong analytical skills and stakeholder management - Adherence to governance and compliance policies, including data security and records management - Base and Advance SAS Certification preferred - Basic understanding of other ETL tools like Abinitio and SQL languages like PL/SQL Desirable Skills/Preferred Qualifications: - Awareness of AWS implementations and Hadoop-based data lakes integration - Good understanding of Safe Agile process and Change Management process - Familiarity with AWS stack and experience working with it - Experience in migration projects from SAS to Ab-initio/Tableau/AWS/Databricks In this role based in Pune, your primary purpose will be to build and maintain systems that collect, store, process, and analyze data, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and security. Your key accountabilities will include: - Building and maintaining data architecture pipelines for data transfer and processing - Designing and implementing data warehouses and data lakes that manage data volumes and velocity while adhering to security measures - Developing processing and analysis algorithms suitable for the data complexity and volumes - Collaborating with data scientists to build and deploy machine learning models As an Assistant Vice President, you will be expected to: - Advise and influence decision-making, contribute to policy development, and ensure operational effectiveness - Lead a team in performing complex tasks, setting objectives, coaching employees, and appraising performance - Demonstrate leadership behaviors to create an environment for colleagues to thrive - Collaborate closely with other functions and business divisions - Consult on complex issues and identify ways to mitigate risk and develop new policies/procedures All colleagues are expected to uphold the Barclays Values of Respect, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship, as well as demonstrate the Barclays Mindset of Empower, Challenge, and Drive.,
