As we expand our digital and content layer, were looking for a content writer who can blend creativity with structure, research with persuasion, and AI tooling with a human touch. Job Overview We are looking for an experienced content writer with a sharp understanding of how content drives outcomes in the e-commerce funnel. The ideal candidate will know how to craft content thats structured for SEO, optimise for performance, and emotionally aligned with buyer psychology. From product descriptions and landing pages to long-form guides and banner copy, your work will shape user experiences and support real business metrics. This is not a write 1000 words per day kind of role. We care about quality, conversions, and trust. Your writing should reflect Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness (E-E-A-T) while also delivering value to both users and search engines. Key Responsibilities Research and write content for landing pages, product collections, blog posts, guides, and newsletters, tailored for e-commerce. Create persuasive, benefit-driven product-focused copy that motivates clicks, adds to cart, and drives checkout. Optimize content for search visibility (titles, headers, keyword intent, metadata, internal linking, schema hints). Own and maintain editorial calendars aligned with sales cycles, seasonal trends, and new product launches. Conduct competitor research, content gap analysis, and periodic audits to improve or repurpose existing content. Work closely with UI/UX, marketing, and product teams to shape content around user journeys and interaction patterns. Deliver content for various formats – short-form ad copy, long-form guides, how-to explain, FAQs, and emails. Maintain a clean, consistent voice while adapting tone based on audience, platform, and objective. Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience writing for e-commerce, digital commerce platforms, or product-heavy websites. Strong understanding of technical SEO, structured content writing, keyword research, and intent-driven content. Excellent grammar, editing, structure, and research skills – must be able to simplify product information for clarity and conversion. Exposure to tools like Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Surfer SEO. Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms used for e-commerce content publishing. Ability to take feedback and iterate rapidly while maintaining clarity, consistency, and speed. Preferred Skills Experience in writing content for e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or custom storefronts. Familiarity with product categorisation logic, digital merchandising, and buyer funnel strategies. Ability to augment research and draft content using AI tools (e.g.,ChatGPT, Jasper), and refine output to sound human and bypass AI detection tools. Comfortable working with designers and developers to align copy with layout, interaction, and CRO experiments. Awareness of Google's E-E-A-T principles and experience applying them to real-world content strategies. Education Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Mass Communication, or related field. Equivalent hands-on experience is also considered.
