Infrastructure Manager / Senior Facilities Manager Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Critical Infrastructure Engineer with 3 to 7 years of experience in monitoring and maintaining critical infrastructure systems, specifically power and HVAC systems. The role demands real-time system monitoring, incident response, preventive maintenance tracking, and compliance documentation to ensure optimal uptime and performance in a high-availability environment.
Key Responsibilities -
Monitoring Power Systems
- Continuously monitor power distribution systems (UPS, generators, electrical panels) for performance and uptime.
- Track power usage and efficiency; identify and report anomalies such as voltage fluctuations or overload conditions.

Monitoring HVAC Systems
- Monitor HVAC infrastructure (CRACs, air handlers, chilled water systems) to maintain optimal equipment room temperature and humidity.
- Ensure efficient cooling performance and identify early signs of wear or inefficiencies.

Real-Time Alerts & Incident Response
- Configure real-time alerts for system failures, threshold breaches, or degradation in performance.
- Act immediately on alerts by performing diagnostics and escalating to relevant stakeholders when necessary.

Data Logging & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and detailed logs of system performance, anomalies, and interventions.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on infrastructure health and incident status for internal use and audits.

Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution
- Analyze and identify root causes of issues or failures in critical systems.
- Collaborate with vendors and technical teams for prompt resolution and preventive action.

Incident Documentation
- Ensure complete documentation of incidents, diagnostics, and corrective actions taken.
- Analyze incident trends to identify recurring problems and propose long-term solutions.

Preventive Maintenance Monitoring
- Track preventive maintenance schedules and ensure timely execution to avoid downtime.
- Set up alerts for upcoming maintenance tasks and coordinate with maintenance teams or vendors.

Compliance & Audit Support
- Monitor systems to ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards (energy efficiency, environmental norms).
- Assist during audits and provide required documentation and reports.
Qualifications & Requirements - Bachelors degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- 3 to 7 years of experience in infrastructure monitoring (power and HVAC systems).
- Hands-on experience with monitoring tools, sensors, and SCADA systems is preferred.
- Familiarity with data centers or high-availability environments is an added advantage.
