About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced E-commerce Accounts & Reconciliation Executive to handle payment and inventory reconciliation across leading marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, and Jiomart. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge and prior hands-on experience in e-commerce finance operations. Key Responsibilities Reconcile payments, settlements, and fee deductions from e-commerce platforms with internal accounting and sales data. Perform inventory reconciliation across FBA, warehouse, and return channels ensuring system data matches actual stock movement. Identify and resolve discrepancies in orders, returns, and claims related to lost, damaged, or unaccounted stock. Coordinate with marketplace support teams for reimbursement and payment recovery. Maintain structured records of payment reports, settlements, credit notes, and claims for audit and reporting purposes. Collaborate with the finance and operations teams to ensure accurate reflection of e-commerce transactions in the books of accounts. Generate periodic reconciliation summaries and exception reports for management review. Support process improvement by suggesting automation or better data tracking methods to minimize manual effort. Role Overview The Accounts Executive (Reconciliation & Reporting) will be responsible for reconciling large datasets (50,000+ rows monthly) involving order IDs, settlement IDs, SKUs, and inventory movements to ensure accuracy between Amazon reports, bank settlements, and accounting records . This role requires strong Excel and accounting skills with a clear understanding of Amazon payment and stock flows. Key Responsibilities 1. Payment Reconciliation Reconcile Amazon settlement reports with MTR invoices , bank credits , and COD/prepaid receipts . Identify short payments, deductions, pending settlements , and mismatched transactions. Maintain proper mapping between Order IDs and Settlement IDs . Track unmatched payments and coordinate with Amazon Seller Support for resolution. 2. Inventory Reconciliation Match FBA inventory movement and event detail reports with sales, reimbursements, and physical stock . Track returns, removals, and unfulfillable inventory for monthly reporting. Verify reimbursements and lost/damaged units against Amazon adjustment reports. Prepare SKU-wise variance and stock reconciliation statements. 3. Reporting & Accounting Support Prepare monthly reconciliation summaries and pivot-based dashboards for management. Assist in posting reconciliation results to Tally/Busy/FCA . Support finance team with GST, TDS, and accounting validations related to marketplace transactions. Required Skills Advanced Excel proficiency (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS, data cleaning). Strong understanding of e-commerce payment and inventory workflows (Amazon FBA preferred). Working knowledge of accounting principles - journal entries, ledgers, GST, and TDS. Ability to handle large data files (50,000+ rows) efficiently. Strong attention to detail and logical data-matching ability. Preferred Qualifications B.Com / M.Com / Accounting / Finance background. 2-4 years of experience in e-commerce accounts or reconciliation (Amazon / Flipkart). Familiarity with Amazon Seller Central , FBA reports , and settlement dashboards . Experience in Accounting/E-commerce preferred. Basic knowledge of Power BI or SQL is a plus (not mandatory).
