Credit Assessment Underwriter - Secured Lending

As a Credit Assessment Underwriter, your role involves analyzing various sources of income, assessing risks related to collateral, and evaluating credit applications based on creditworthiness criteria. You will utilize your Credit Discretion Authority and in-depth knowledge of credit policies to ensure timely processing of applications while providing the best possible outcome for customers. Your responsibilities will also include preparing credit proposals and maintaining effective communication with onshore customers. Key Responsibilities: - Analyzing salaries, self-employed income, rental/investment incomes, and collateral risks - Utilizing Credit Discretion Authority to make informed decisions - Ensuring compliance with credit policies - Maintaining turnaround times (TAT) for credit assessments - Interacting frequently with onshore customers - Preparing credit proposals to support decision-making Qualifications Required: - 4 to 5 years of experience in Credit Assessment Underwriting for Consumer or Business Lending (Secured) - Experience in Credit Discretion is preferred - Proficiency in risk analysis to mitigate assessment findings - Strong communication skills - Self-motivated and adaptable - Creative thinking and strategic mindset,
