Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly creative and passionate Footwear Designer – Sports to join our innovative design team. You will be responsible for designing performance-driven and trend-forward sports footwear that reflects our brand identity, meets athlete and consumer needs, and pushes the boundaries of function and style. Your designs will contribute to collections across categories such as running, training, basketball, soccer, and other high-performance sports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conceptualize and create original sports footwear designs from initial sketches to final tech packs.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Marketing to ensure design meets performance, cost, and brand objectives.
• Research trends in fashion, sports culture, materials, color, and technology to inspire innovative design solutions.
• Build mood boards, concept stories, and seasonal direction tailored to each target consumer and sport category.
• Create clear, detailed tech specs and CADs for prototypes and production.
• Work with materials, color, and 3D modeling teams to explore new constructions and sustainable design opportunities.
• Attend athlete feedback sessions, user testing, and design reviews to refine products.
• Present designs internally and externally with clarity, creativity, and purpose.
• Stay informed on competitor product lines, consumer behavior, and emerging technologies.
• Balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Footwear Design, Industrial Design, Fashion Design, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in footwear design, ideally in the athletic or sportswear industry.
• Strong sketching, concepting, and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, 2D/3D CAD software (Shoemaster).
• Understanding of performance footwear construction, biomechanics, and materials.
• Passion for sports culture, innovation, and product performance.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Portfolio that demonstrates creative vision, technical proficiency, and originality.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with athletes or in performance testing environments.
• Knowledge of sustainability in footwear design.
• Experience in consumer insights and trend forecasting.
• Familiarity with 3D printing or rapid prototyping technologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
