As a UIUX Designer (Figma Designer) at our company located in Amritapuri, Kollam, you will be one of the three individuals required for this position. You should hold a degree in a related field such as Graphic Design, Web Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or User Experience (UX) Design. Possessing additional certifications or specialized courses in UI/UX design would be advantageous. A strong portfolio showcasing your Figma expertise, user-centered approach, and case studies is essential for this role. Your responsibilities will include designing user-centric interfaces, workflows, and experiences for multiple platforms. You will be tasked with developing and maintaining design systems and style guides, creating wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize and test concepts, as well as collaborating closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and implementation accuracy. Working alongside instructional designers, you will integrate educational content into user-friendly designs, identify and resolve UX issues throughout the project lifecycle, manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and stay updated on UI/UX trends, design tools, and technologies. Key skills required for this role include experience with user research, creating personas, and user flows, expertise in UI/UX design tools like Figma and Adobe Suite, proficiency in wireframing, prototyping, and design systems, a strong understanding of design principles, usability, and user-centered design, excellent communication and collaboration skills, ability to prioritize tasks, work efficiently under tight deadlines, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset. The ideal candidate should have 2 to 5 years of experience working on UI projects ranging from web apps, mobile apps, dashboards, e-commerce platforms, and more.
