Direct Responsibilities Pricing: This team is responsible to update the price of Listed & OTC securities to enable the fund accountants/Reporting to ascertain the market value of the securities as a part of fund valuation (NAV) and reporting activity. Pricing activity is carried out across APAC & EMEA regions for both listed and OTC. Asset creation: This team is responsible to setup the securities of various instruments in the respective accounting platforms. Security master activity is carried out across APAC & EMEA regions for both listed and OTC. Benchmark: This team is responsible of creating/maintaining indices & benchmark for funds and mandate in accounting platform. Basic Requirement Knowledge on Capital Markets and knowledge of Security Pricing / asset setup Management or outsourced Operations An understanding of a variety of Instrument types including Equities, Bonds, Unit Trusts Technical Requirement In depth understanding on the system functionalities. The applications we use and data retrieval from vendors. Trouble shooting skills set to have smooth BAU. Contributing Responsibilities Process accurate security pricing / Asset Creation/Benchmark on a Global basis within given deadlines. Interact with both internal and external parties to resolve pricing / Asset creation/ Benchmark issues and queries. Query resolution in accordance with time frames set out in Client SLAs Constantly review procedures to keep up to date with the change in process. Manage all ad-hoc projects and new initiatives. Performing a range of daily, weekly, monthly reportings/ controls to ensure completeness of processing. Work with the Vendors and other parties to capture security prices / Asset Creation /Change in benchmark Resolve pricing / Asset Creation/Benchmark issues in a timely basis. Based on the experience, Resource should able to identify the areas for improvements in the process and implement stringent controls and ensure operational excellence. Client Focus Complete commitment to provide professional and prompt responses to meet clients requirement. Communication Oral: Expressing ideas effectively in individual and group situations. Adjusting communication style to match the needs of the audience. Written: Expressing ideas clearly in all written documents. Primary responsibilities BAU Excellence Client Focus Risk & Controls Team Work Learning & Development Preferred candidate profile 1 to 3 Years of experience in the field of Benchmark, Static Data or Pricing (Listed & OTC) would be preferable. Post Graduation from the recognized University. Specific interest or qualification in Mathematics is an added advantage. Working experience with the most important data providers: Bloomberg, Telekurs, Reuters.
