Design and deliver engaging training programs for surgery coding professionals. Conduct regular assessments and provide feedback to ensure coding accuracy and compliance. Stay updated with the latest coding guidelines, payer policies, and regulatory changes. Collaborate with QA and audit teams to identify training needs and address performance gaps. Develop training materials, manuals, and e-learning content. Qualifications Minimum 6+ years of hands-on experience in surgery coding . Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or equivalent credential required. In-depth knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS Level II coding systems. Strong understanding of surgical procedures across various specialties (e.g., orthopedics, general surgery, cardiovascular). Prior experience in training or mentoring coders is highly desirable. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
