CPQ Business Modeler

Position Overview

• analyse customer requirements and data
• Design, build and maintain configurator model
  

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement configuration logic to develop models for customers that meets requirements of both logic and user experience
• Develop and test configuration rules to ensure accurate product combinations and prevent invalid configurations
• Participate in user acceptance testing and provide ongoing support for model enhancements
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot modeling issues as they arise
• Document modeling decisions, business logic, and system configurations for future reference and team knowledge sharing
• Collaborate with sales, product management, and development teams for new features and product enhancements
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field with exposure to Data Science or Analytics.
• 3-5 years of experience working with CPQ platforms, with demonstrated modeling experience
• Strong understanding of sales processes, product configuration, and modeling methodologies
• Experience with business process mapping and requirements gathering
• Proficiency in data analysis and working with complex spreadsheets/databases
• Basic understanding of APIs and system integrations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in relevant CPQ platform (Salesforce CPQ Specialist, Oracle CPQ, etc.)
• Experience with manufacturing or B2B sales environments
• Knowledge of SQL or other database querying languages
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  

Additional Preferred Skills

• Engineering background with exposure to Data Science or Analytics.
• Experience in Digital Transformation and IT Integration projects.
• Knowledge of Control & Automation systems (DCS, PLC, SCADA, IoT, HMI).
• Familiarity with the Energy & Utilities domain (Smart Grid, Electric Mobility, Sustainability).
• Understanding of Agile project management and basic financial acumen (costing, ROI, proposals).
