About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated CPI-DS Lead Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP Cloud Platform Integration - Data Services (CPI-DS) and SAP Data Intelligence (SDI), with a proven track record of leading complex integration projects. This role requires a blend of technical mastery, strong communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior team members, all while delivering high-quality solutions under aggressive timelines. Key Responsibilities
- Lead Design Workshops : Lead and conduct comprehensive design workshops with diverse audiences, including business stakeholders and IT teams, to gather requirements and define robust integration solutions. - Architect Integration Solutions : Design end-to-end integration architectures for CPI-DS, considering various data sources and targets, including customer data lakes. - Develop Complex HCI Tasks : Expertly develop intricate HCI tasks to facilitate seamless data exchange between SAP IBP and other critical systems such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA, APO, HANA, Side Car, Flat Files, and various database systems. - Scripting and Web Services : Utilize Pre-Scripts and Post-Scripts effectively within CPI-DS tasks. Possess a strong understanding of web-service based integration for CPI tasks, particularly for pulling data from IBP and uploading to ECC or APO systems. - IBP Integration Expertise : Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of attributes, master data types, and planning level concepts within SAP IBP to ensure accurate and efficient data integration. - Administration and Scheduling : Manage the scheduling and administration of CPI-DS tasks, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of integration flows. - Mentorship and Leadership : Mentor and guide junior CPI team members within the organization, fostering their growth and technical capabilities. - Project Delivery : Work effectively under tight deadlines and short notice, demonstrating excellent time-management skills and the ability to deliver high-quality results within aggressive timelines. - Customer Engagement : Lead the integration and configuration of CPI-DS solutions directly at customer premises. Required Skills and Experience
- SAP Integration Experience : Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Integration, with at least 3 years specifically focused on SAP CPI-DS and SAP Data Intelligence (SDI). - Project Implementation : Must have successfully completed at least 4 end-to-end SAP CPI-DS implementation projects and a minimum of 1 end-to-end SAP SDI implementation project. - CPI-DS & SDI Expertise : Excellent level of understanding and proven expertise in SAP CPI-DS and SDI functionalities and best practices. - System Integration : Proficient in integrating SAP IBP with SAP ECC, S/4HANA, APO, HANA, BW, Flat Files, and other database systems. - Functional Knowledge : Strong functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BW, and SAP IBP Integration. - XML Proficiency : Good understanding of XML based outputs and XML inputs used in CPI DS tasks. - ABAP Knowledge : Good understanding of ABAP programming. - IBP Add-ons & Extractors : Good understanding of SAP IBP add-ons and extractors. Preferred Qualifications (Considered a Plus)
- HANA Knowledge : Understanding of HANA tables, HANA Virtual Data Models (VDMs), and OData. - API Exposure : Experience with API exposure, particularly with MuleSoft and RAML Specifications. - IBP Functional Experience : Functional experience in SAP IBP modules such as Demand Planning, Sales & Operations Planning (SOP), Inventory Management, and Response & Supply. - PI/PO Knowledge : Working knowledge of SAP Process Integration (PI) / Process Orchestration (PO).
