We are searching for skilled and hardworking IBS Engineers (L1) to be a part of our team for in-building solutions (IBS) projects at various airports across India. The position entails hands-on technical responsibilities such as cable pulling, equipment installation, and testing. You should be at ease with working at elevated heights and be able to transport materials and tools to ensure the efficient execution of IBS installations. Your main duties will include pulling RF cables and fiber for IBS installations, moving materials and tools to the work site, installing and testing splitters, couplers, antennas, and other IBS components, conducting connectorization and ensuring proper cable termination, performing VSWR testing, labeling, and equipment installation, as well as drilling and securing installations for cables, antennas, and IBS equipment. You will also be required to work at heights using ladders or scaffolding for installation tasks. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in IBS/DAS installation, possess the ability to work at heights and handle physical tasks, and have a basic understanding of RF cables, fiber, and telecom infrastructure. A willingness to work at airports and adhere to safety protocols is necessary. Preferred qualifications for this role include an ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications and experience in telecom infrastructure projects, which would be advantageous. This is a full-time position with benefits such as health insurance, leave encashment, and Provident Fund. The work schedule will involve rotational shifts and a yearly bonus will be provided. Accountable for day to day delivery of the assigned project towards the MA. Work and Deliver Indoor design solutions independently. Travel as per Business requirement. Work with MA Leads to execute the delivery plans in a time bound manner Candidate should be able to understand the design requirements from customer and provide the right solution. Interact with internal and external stakeholders for delivery execution Excellent communication skills The skills you bring Should be familiar with Indoor Radio network Design and Planning principles. Prepare tapping diagrams and BoQ for IBS implementation. Familiar with indoor system passive/active components: Splitters, couplers, combiners, attenuators, etc Should be familiar with interpreting results of walk test Should be able to analyze walk test log files using TEMS or any other similar tool. Should be familiar with Propagation losses, link budget, RF Components placements, Designing Distributed Antenna Systems, Coverage Prediction, 3D modeling of buildings/Venues in planning tool. Strong knowledge of GSM, WCDMA and LTE network Design concepts Working knowledge on 5G design would be an added advantage. Ericsson Radio system product knowledge (Baseband, IRU, RRU, DU, RDS etc ) Product knowledge on 3PP PDAS components Should have hands on experience in PDAS In-building Design Mandatory to have working knowledge on iBwave tool. Ability to build long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders. Self-driven with strong problem-solving and project coordination skills. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region.
