Counselor- Healing Services

As a Counselor at Healing Services, your role involves providing direct psychotherapeutic services at the psychotherapeutic services unit. Your key responsibilities include: - Maintaining the client database and documenting all cases in the organizational formats. You will be required to submit monthly updates to the Coordinator. - Conducting group sessions on various topics related to Mental Health such as self-care. - Supporting the team in case work and other tasks. To excel in this role, you will need to reflect on field realities, challenges, and movements specific to interventions on the issue of CSA. Your ability to work towards mitigating concerns in a timely manner will be crucial. Your specialized job competencies should include therapeutic knowledge, trauma-informed care, critical thinking, good communication skills, good documentation skills, and openness to learning. In terms of qualifications, you should hold a full-time Masters in Clinical/Counselling Psychology from a UGC recognized University OR a full-time MSW with specialization in Psychiatric Social Work/Mental Health Psychology from a UGC recognized University. Ideally, you should have 1-2 years of experience in direct psychotherapeutic interventions with clients. Attention to detail and adherence to processes are essential. Other desired attributes include the ability to work in a team with clear and open communication. Proficiency in using Windows, Word, and Excel is necessary. You should be fluent in English, Hindi, and Marathi. The job is based in Mumbai and may require travel to various locations in and around the city. The salary range for this position is Rs 24,000 per month, along with travel reimbursement of 5200/- per month, therapeutic reimbursement of 2000/- per month, and an annual training reimbursement of 5000/-.
